Hot seat Problem!

When I try and play a hotseat with my dad. (Stupid ATi video card won't work even after following the tech support.)
It doesn't matter what options we select, whether we close or make players AI's, or move ourselves around when we start the game we always start with 4 human players. No AI's and always 4 players. Nothing we do or change makes any difference!
Anyone else having this problem? Definitely something they should fix in the next patch!

That's because you didn't switch all the human players to AI.... (some are invisible, you have to scroll down)

Nope, Didn't you read my message, NOTHING helps. Including switching ALL human players to AI or closing them or a mixture. We ALWAYS get FOUR human players and nothing else, we checked to see if there was any other players, but nope. Crazy stuff

I tried my first hotseat game tonight (me against me...who will win!?) and I didn't have any problems having the number of human players I wanted.

(i had the same problem when i tried the hotseat mode for the first time : 4 human players)

If you still can't solve your problem, there is a simple solution : just delete the two extra civs as soon as the game begins (by deleting their units)

Same problem here, whatever i do (both closed and ai) there will only be human players.
