Jadwiga has very good looks but then she opens her mouth and well I am Polish and find her to be just... off for some reason. Unnatural. Weird. And she also constantly talks about God. I know this "repressed gone wild" meme but she is somehow... Eh, I wouldn't date her.

Victoria, it surprises me how relatively few votes she got. She is adorable young girl with a grace, dignity but also temperament and fury. Maybe I am simply younger than average of these forums...

Tamar is opposite of Victoria - seems mature and stoic. She is also a freakin Christian saint, similarly to Jadwiga - but in this case my "repressed gone wild" detector senses something that makes her stupidly hot for me.

The most interesting trait of this poll is how di Medici got even less votes than Wilhelmina and Amanitore despite not having their, uhm, dietary issues.

And I thought only I find her really repulsive

Second leader was actually hard because i found none of them attractive. I chose for Seondeok. I could have voted for Tamar as well.

I'm definitely outside of my comfort zone here, but I voted for Gorgo and Girtaja. Tomyris would probably be my #3. I don't really understand the hype over Cleopatra. Well I get the boobs part, but her in-game model looks extremely cartoonish and poorly executed to me, and the make-up just makes her look cheap to me. But I guess I'm not really qualified to judge in this case. Similarly, Jadwiga does nothing for me from what I've seen, though I don't actually have that DLC, so can't judge her properly.

Not attracted to women so I may not be the best judge. But I'd say Tamar and Jadwiga. They both carry off figure-hugging dresses rather well.

I did consider voting for Cleo but her head is ginormous which is a bit off-putting.

Well if they made the female leaders attractive there would be nothing but angry shouts of sexism, but it's all good when half the male leaders are shirtless and rippling with muscle.

In other words, a double standard.

I legitimately miss the days when the "male gaze" was the default for all video games. What can I say, I like being catered to.

Cathy is quite sexy by attitude, however a little to old. When looking for the same vibe, probably choices move towards Gitarja or even Cleo. Chibi versions of catherine (that make her younger and cuter) are indeed a crush.

Finally chose Cleo over Jadwiga, to go with Gitarja. Jadwiga is cute, but too young/naive (or blondie ). R&F did not do much to increase the competition here, altough Seondeok can be also a good choice if you look for a young CdM.

Well if we are including all games I might have to go with Lelianna from Dragon's Age games. Too bad she can't be a civilization leader. He spy background would make her a favorite of Catherine.

I really don't play for this team at all, but if I have to choose, I'll go with Gitarja and Jadwiga. They're incredibly pretty and elegant, and their outfits really fits them perfectly.
For honorable mentions, there's Tomyris and Gorgo, both of which I find have incredible bodies, Cleopatra, for the body language, and Tamar, for how incredible she looked in concept art.

I have to say, the amount of Vicky and - even more so - Seondeok being mentioned in this thread surprises me! I wouldn't have thought they'd be that high up for some people!
I guess it goes to show that, despite cries of sexism or double standards, the game indeed have a variety of female leaders that appeal to a wide audience of woman-loving folk!

this may be the first video game that has a higher proportion of sexiness among males than females. i love it. (I don't play for this team but i picked Gitarja and Seondoek)
