How do I change my avatar & signature?

I can't figure out how to change my picture and signature! Please help!

go into your User CP and you will be able to change them. but only after 30 posts will you be able to make you pic a picture from your computer, before 30 posts you have to use a given avatar

As said above, these changes are done from the User Control Panel.


Once you have met the requirements (30 days, 30 posts), you will have menu options down the side to allow you to change these.

Actually, I think you can make a sig right away. The time limit is just for the avatar.

The time limit is for custom avatar and custom title. Any user can use the pre-defined avatars, and of course, the standard forum titles. Also, any user should be able to add/modify their signature.

It's on the left side of the screen, beside the subscriptions. You will see the list that has the various options for avatars and signatures.

No, as it has been said before you can change your sig right away. But you can never have an image in your sig, no matter how many posts or days you have.

With the exception to smileys.

And other limits to sigs, such as 5 lines max in standard text, 8 in small, no quote boxes, nothing against forum rules, etc.

Newly registered members may not use signatures, e-mail forum members, post visitor messages, use the private messaging system or join or create social groups, until they have been members for 5 days AND have at least 5 posts.
Also uploads to the modding file database have to get approved by one administrator, unless they have been a member for 30 days AND have at least 30 posts.

The signature function is available when you reach the 5 day / 5 post usergroup, an anti spam feature to deter ad spammers and bots from showing up with ads in their signature. Since you are clearly not a bot, I will manually add you to that usergroup now.
