I've started taking videos with my new sony handycam but the film files that are created when I transfer it to my computer are too large. A 20 minute film takes up almost 1 gig. I used to use virtualdub to compress my Fraps videos but I get an error telling me I can't convert mpeg2 files with fraps. Does anyone else have this problem? I even tried converting my videos to avi but I haven't found an effective program to do that yet. Is there a sure fire way of compressing videos from video cameras?
