How do I get the side bar back?

What I am refering to is the subwindow in a folder in the windows xp OS system.

Example of what I am talking about: See the options on the left

For some mysterious reason, it disapeared and I dont know how to get it reactivated.

Control Panel > Folder Options > Show common tasks in folders

That should work, IIRC... I always disable that as soon as I install windows though.

Nope, Did not worked :-/

And the "Show common tasks in folders" is activated.

Go to folder options and restore defaults and see if that helps. If not, swear repeatedly.
