How do I launch the game?

I have been having fun with Civ4: BtS for a few weeks now, and just finished playing the Age of Ice scenario. Info on that scenario led me to discover that FfH exists and it sounds wonderful so I'd like to try it out.

I have downloaded the latest version (2.023c), installed the exe file to my .../Mods directory, same for the Media pack and the C patch.
Now what? If I launch vanilla Civ I dont see a link in the main menu for starting FfH 2, not under scenarios or under BtS content or under "load a mod". If I try the shortcut in my FfH directory which supposedly launches FfH directly (bypassing vanilla civ4) I get " no CD inserted" error message...(and I don't have the CD here).

Can anyone help?

2.023c requires the vanilla CD, sorry

Thanks. I DO have the vanilla CD here, just not the BtS one. I just spotted that thread about a FfH rework for BtS though...so I take it FfH was designed before BtS came out? Would I have to uninstall BtS and just run FfH on top of a clean vanilla install?

No, just use the vanilla CD. The extra BtS content is contained in the Bts Folder, and won't affect a normal vanilla game (with the exception that the expansion includes the latest patch, but that doesn't hurt anything). Vanilla mods are saved in the mods folder under Civ IV, while the BtS mods are in another mods folder within the BtS folder.

Thank you, I just got it working, and my first impression is that it looks fantastic ! I loved the art and music on the intro. Looks like I have a steep learning curve ahead of me though !
