How do I make a poll??

You simply choose the option that is at the bottom of the page when you open a new thread. It is the very last box before you click on submission of the thread and if you click the box and choose the number of poll options (up to 20) you will be taken to the poll when you click submit. You can't put images as poll options unfortunately, but it's very rare that you need to.
