How far we've come.

I only read the first post, so you'll have to excuse me if I am repeating someone else, but I'm in a bit of a hurry.

People were not exactly as developed then, our technical thinking and much of our brain was underdeveloped then, even though they may have been Homo Sapiens Sapiens, like us.
Also, then human society was based on hunting and collecting, not agriculture and urbanisation. It was less effective, therefore they couldn't do as much else than try to survive. This may, though, be the minor of reasons, it sure seems like a lot of time.
But you do see that technological, social development, etc. really took pace when we moved toward an agricultural society, and we also see that in ancient times, the most developed cultures were the agricultural ones. First of all it feeds more people, triggering development, who will be able to specialise in other things than agriculture; handwork etc. It also promoted an early urbanisation...

Spontaneous generation is always occuring on the subatomic level. There are many sources to explain this. There is also something referred to as neutrinogenesis. Many theories don't need a creator, and thus are more credible.

Ladies and Gentlemen. newfangle has just solved the greatest mystery... how life was created! Kudos to you newfangle! And look.. he did it in only one paragraph. But wait did he say "theories", woops.. sorry.. false alarm...

I invite you to come over and post in the Off-Topic forum. I think you would fit right in.

This is the kind of reply I get from a person that is completely incapable of understanding that sometihng can indeed come from nothing. This is fact. It can be seen in detectors in particle accelerators miles in diameter (go CERN!!!). There is endless literature on the subject, I suggest starting with "A Brief History of TIme," and working your way up from there.

I don't feel the need to explain things to you, because your posts have made it apparant that you probably won't want to hear the truth. (ek, that sounded quasi x-files).

He'll have to take a number after rmsharpe, greadius, you, knowtok2, and Becka before he can officially join the anti-newfangle/agnostic socialist club. Me, Damien, Hitro, Comrade Davo, Sobeiski, and Cornmaster will rule this forum one day.... Buwhahahah!!!!:goodjob:

Thought your plans were safe in the History forum? Are you nuts?
BTW, you also have me to deal with. Even if you become more powerful than people like the mentioned, you still have to deal with Darkshade.

I have been here 5 months and I still can't tell is Darkshade is joking:D

On the contrary, I do desire truth. With my whole heart. There is a bumper sticker on my truck that says "truth". Anyways, I will check out the book you mentioned. And I will be taking note of how many times the word "theory" is quoted. Truth is not a theory. Truth is the facts. We shall see....

"Truth is never flattering, but it has been know to streatch a few necks." (guess where that came from)

I don't believe in all this 'not really empty space' idea the so-called theoretical physicists are spilling on us. I believe they're just making the whole thing more complicated, to the detriment of the rest of us. They can't change their own theories, so they complicate them! :crazyeye:

In the end, it must be that it's all just a bunch of points arranged in a certain manner in a certain geometry and with a certain speed. You don't even need the speed.

We are points.

I have a hard time dealing with that theory. Something may
only from nothing we can detect. I have read Hawking and
still believe in conversation of matter/energy. There ain't no free
lunch in physics (even quantum mechanics) and the equation must always balance.

The more we learn the less we know about reality.

Change of state would use energy. If it uses energy it is
not appearing out of "nothing". It can't osolate without
using energy eithier. There is something going on undetected
here.
