How is the end-game "title" evaluated?

Been wondering for literally years. I know that if I complete a victory, and on higher difficulty settings, I get a better term that history will remember me by.

But i'm wondering if there's an actual formula to it? I'd love to see how many light bulbs my warrior can ding.
