How long do the pains for appendicitis last?

I know a guy who had his burst in a plain. He then spent his vacation in a hospital. On the fkight back the plain had an engine fire on take off and had to do the slide down the chute thing and got tackeled at the bottom ripping his stiches. Bleeding out isn't the only problem but becomeing septic can be worse as you die a more painful death.
CG, are you sure it is appendix-related? Maybe someone stole one of your kidneys. Have you checked for new scars lately?

ive had to have my appendix removed. - luckily it got acted on very quickly and so it didnt rupture- i was out of hospital within a few days.
it felt like a really needed a poo, and i wanted to be sick, and someone had punched me in the stomack all at once!
sick fact- the doctor sticks his finger up ur bumb as its closest to your appendix, so he can test if its your appendixs hurting not something else!
sick fact two- they shave some of your pubes because the opperate pretty close and the whole area needs to be hair free!!!
then my dad got it- and they fannied so much he spent 2 weeks in hospital- only time i have seen my dad reduced to tears he was in so much pain/so unhappy being stuck in hospital!

I bet it was gas. Bad gas pains can feel like your dieing.

It wasn't that; I know because I had that once as a child, and really did beleive I was dying.

I was in pretty extreme pain before I finally got my apendix out. The pain started at around 3AM, finally at 12PM the following day I checked into an emergency room. I didn't actually have surgury until 10PM that night. 
I never plan to have to undergo invasive surgury again if I can help it.

felt a pain on my right side and then few minutes later went to the washroom but i didn't feel pain while walkin or goin up and down the stairs... had vomitting feel ..had stomach gas -drank water still the vomitsh feelin didn't get away...do i have appenticitis or not? i don't feel any pain on the right side anymore except this vomittish felin doesn't go away...

I thought I had appendicitis once, but it turned out to be really bad food poisoning. I didn't start vomiting until after a few hours of severe abdominal pain. I waited it out after a sleepless night and eventually felt better enough to take my finals that morning.
I almost went to the e.r. because I was really starting to think it was appendicitis, but I didn't have insurance at that time so I toughed it out.

If it was appendicitis you would probably be lying down because it hurts to stand or move. I never had vomiting but just severe constant pain. Had to lie down in the car while my parents drove me to the hospital.
Nevertheless the safest thing to do is get qualified medical advice rather than anecdotal evidence from here.
