Did any writers in 1904 ever capture a good glimpse of 2004 in their speculations?

It is not the same, i guess. In 1904 they hadn't even slightest idea about thermonuclear fusion or genetic manipulation, nanorobotry or so. Now we know these concepts and we can better estimate our future (for, say, about 50 years...)

An ancient city in Africa and I think in the Indian region as well, has dictated nuclear or uranium material and even possibly enriched uranium, in it’s past!
