The title speaks for itself, really.

Game doesn't seem to hang every 10 turns anymore, so huge improvement for me.

I'm finding the AI is a lot more competent with regards to warfare and tech choices. I've seen them beelining military techs a lot more, often seeing them having rifles before philosophy, for example. With warfare it's still pretty poor on the tactical level, but seems to be better on the strategic level.

Stealing Workers and Warrior rushes are both quite a bit more challenging. Unfortunately, this is more frustrating than helpful. You can get just as strong a start as you did before the patch, but you have to make many more attempts in order to get lucky.

After the first fifty turns, I'm not noticing much of a difference.

I feel, due to the difference in number of horse units being made by the AI, the change is quite impressive! War is much harder now then it was before and decreased lux abuse makes turn 50 rushes so much weaker. Good stuff.

No option for not improved at all. I like that the AI uses different units and techs better, dislike that you can never ever get a fair trade for anything.

Slightly better: the patch remedied many but not all oversights in the original release, but it did not address the fundamental problems that make CiV too easy. This isn't exactly surprising, but I will admit that I was at least *hoping* that the AI's combat abilities would improve significantly.

Improved a lot: I can play Emperor without feeling my intelligence is being insulted. It does need more work, but I think if the game had been released even this complete it would not have caused the firestorm of rage that we have seen over the past month.
I have gone back to playing this game, which I had feared I would have to write off, and that is saying something.
