How Sould I Win? 1st GOTM

Actually, it's not the first one attempted, but I plan to follow through with this one. I normally play on Warlord, but I can work up to Regent. I can handle basic military affairs, and I'm fairly good at handling a wartime economy. I've never tried Diplomatic or Spaceship. (BTW, Conquest is the easiest, right? Last time i did Open 'cause I didn't bother to pay close attention. Lost horribly. Sorry if this is prohibited.)

trumpeteer, it sounds like you should try this one at Conquest level. (and try to play some games on your own where you experiment with the various victory conditions.) Good luck!

Thanks. I had planned on Conquest level this time, but I thought Open was the easiest. With its misleading name and the upcoming expansion, I hope they change its name. For now, I'll stick to what I know.

This thread has given me an idea. I think we should have a poll right before each GOTM.

The poll would read.
What Victory should SirPleb play for in GOTM XX?
He would have to play for the condition listed at the time of the release of the save. Of course he would have to agree to this, but it seems like an amusing little game to play.

The only problem with that is the Tournament. If he chooses to compete in that he has to get the specified victory condition. Of course this is Sir Pleb, so he could probably just get the victory condition the Tournament requires and the one people vote for on the same turn just about every time...

Heh, by XX I meant a variable, not the Roman numeral for 20. It is true though that it is a little late to choose for GOTM 20.
