It's really quite easy how it works.

Don't read unless you want to know how it works

Spoiler :

Every answer will always be a multiple of 9, and all the multiples of 9 have the same symbol

Actually, if you keep trying it, it will get wrong once in a while. Like out of 20 times I tried it it was wrong 5 times. Still wierd though.

Thats true. i figured that out.

Lol my first two clicks I got the star of david (which I hate) and the zodiac sign of the virgo. I am a virgo. Weird.

Simple math trick.

Until I read the spoiler that was really quite amazing. Now that I know the answer, its quite clever.

You got it, Mise.

that's only because 5 out of 20 times you misunderstood the instructions or did the math wrong

All of the cards were removed and the same color card was put in but not suit.

Nope. My number was "26" to which my answer was "18" therefore I should have had the moon & star symbol, but actually received the cross instead.

Spoiler :
No, all multiples of 9 up to 81 have the cross symbol.
Details as follows. Pick a 2-digit number, which is symbolized as 10t + u.
Subtract the sum of the digits, you have 10t + u - (t+u), or 9t.

I got 23 (=18, or a cross). But after it guessing corectly, I looked down and saw that it says:
*For example if you chose 23: 2+3=5. 23 minus 5 will give you your answer

I think it subliminally made me think of 23. And then I did it again, also picking 23 (and thus 18) and it guessed right again.
