Rigging is the action of linking verticles to bones. So when you rig an arm, you select all the upper arm verticles and you link it to the upper arm bone of the armature.
i needed to do a simple "rig" on a shoulder strap (or create a new one ), so i did some searching as advised by Chugginator and SUCCESS!!! . i took some screenies of the process and will post a tutorial, hopefully tonight, when I get back from work!

My tutorial is up. It's really confusing and you'll have to look in 2 of my other tutorials there for little things at the end. But it is good IMO, it has all the important info. For the most part.
I'm going through this tutorial getting things done in nifskope. the problem i'm having when I do the trishape is that since I have charlemagenes head and bones and lincoln's suit that they are not exactly matching up.
When I edit trishapes how do i associate the suit as a trishape although the original leaderhead didn't split them out?
second thing, since my newleaderhead already has teeth and stuff should I just edit the old leaderhead teeth's trishapes with the new leaderheads teeth?
