How to 'peel' an egg without peeling!

Meh. I can peel an egg in the same amount of time. Just shock the eggs with cold water post-boiling.

I knew that method but I was hoping for something even easier because there actually IS peeling in the video. You peel off the top and bottom of the egg.

Or you could just not eat eggs instead and save yourselves all that hassle... They're so not worth it.

:mischief:

You realize, ADG, that they aren't all white. They hide yellow in the middle. Eggs are race traitors

Dude why you gotta be provoking stuff, man?

This guy might be able to peel eggs, but he doesn't know how to cook them. Everyone tells you to boil them for 12 minutes, THIS IS WRONG! This coagulates all the proteins and makes it rubbery. Instead put 2-4 eggs in a 1 qt saucepan with cold water, bring to a boil, immediately remove from heat, cover, and let sit 1 hr. Yes, 1 whole hour. This lets the heat diffuse through, fully cooking the egg without coagulating everything, if you do it right.

And for peeling, as long as the eggs aren't very fresh, just slap one on the counter with your palm and roll. The shell comes right off in two pieces.

/I like eggs, from my head down to my legs.

Does it work with an 7 or 8 minute egg or just a 12 minute egg? Might be worth a breakfast experiment in the morning.
