How do u think u can racognizze them?

I have a couple

refer to Zelda OoT as: "Zelda " or "The first Zelda".
Thinks that the PSX is more powerful than the N64 because PSX games have FMV.
And for example Ive noticed that if most of the games he owns are sports game...probably its a newbie ( hey I said most games not a lot..for example if u have only 6 games and 4 are from sports ..its different to have 6 sports games out of 20 15 games)

How d u think u can recognize them??.

If all the sports games he owns are each year's incarnation of Madden, you have a newbie.

Newbie question most likely to be asked at a gaming site: "What are the cheats for..."

If you play them at Tekken 4, they pick Christie, and then randomly bash the buttons. Surprisingly effective, and really annoying...

take a look trough civ4 ideas&suggestions and you'll easily identify them. *shudders* that place is a breeding ground for newbs, and i took it upon myslef to read every idea they had *shudders uncontrollaby to the point where my mom is currently helping me hit "post quick reply"*

For Warcraft..

A noob is the one that gets owned easily, the one that doesn't even know what peons are for ...or that the hero is the most important unit, and the one thas has ABSOLUTELY no micro..

I've never played Warcraft in my life and I knew that.

it usually counts for most games..so...........

I don't see what good will come out of all this newbie bashing or joking. :hmm:

Everybody has to be a newbie at a new game at one time.

In fighting games, they just press random buttons,

I do that. But that's because I don't even bother to learn the moves, I don't play fighting games enough to be bothered. :p

I wouldn't consider owning mostly sports games a sign on newbiness either, it's just the games that person plays.

For counter-strike...

You turn the corner and get shot by your teamate because "you look like a terrorist uniform."

For Wolfenstein Enemy Territory...
Doesn't help his team at all, being a covert ops with sniper standing on the top of hill :)

Think of it as like making fun of the freshmen. There's nothing wrong with a little light-hearted elitism. :smug:

Yeah, I remember my time.

"What's lol? Why are you going Imfao? What's ping?"

I find total newbism when I play my RTS Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds and after the big instructions pop up and make the noise, people still don't know even HOW to play. Even though some are experts, if you can't even read instructions...

Yeah i know, The instructions are there and thy cant even read. and alot of the time there's info in the objectives.

People are too lazy to read the information by clicking a button. I can understand that. But when it's right in front of you... People even mess up in the tutorials. I mean, come on... they actually Speak it to you...

They might have the sound off... Plus sometimes tutorials can be very annoying if you have to do things in a specific order when you know what you need to do already...
