If it is done properly, education takes time. Would you like a "jack of all trades and master of none"? It probably is not impossible to be master of a lot of trades, but very few people have the patience to do so.

Adam Smith's theories are a few hundred years old. Capitalism is a situation, more than anything else.

It is more than that though. Any ideology does not work well with human behavior. If that were the case the only one that would fit the bill is chaos. If we could mitigate human behavior any ideology would work just fine. We may not end up human, but we would be at peace.
