How well did they create Persia and Macedonia in Civilization VI?

Power creep is an inevitable part of every game with decent support post-launch. One thing we have going for us are the expansions. Typically when Firaxis releases an expansion, they rebalance civs and change a lot of bonuses to use the newest mechanics.

And yes, to the user playing with 20 civs...are you nuts? My PC is better than yours (high end i7, 64gb RAM and GTX970) and I rarely play anything above a small map because turn times become unbearable.

It was 24 actually (with Aztecs, Australia, Persia & Macedon DLCs).
And no, the turn time is not unbearable because I don't stare at the
screen between turns late in the game. I have another computer I
use for mathematics research. And another one I watch vids on.

Also, the god-tier aspect of some of these new civs is troubling, and the trend of that increasing will lead to some pretty silly prospects. Australia getting a production bonus when DoW'd? Ok. With you so far.. How much of a production bonus? 15% seems about right... No? 25%? No? Surely it isn't as high as 50? MORE!?!?! FRICKIN' 100%!! That's just stupid.

We've spoken to John about his man-spreading. It is annoying and vulgar.

Also that bonus in the same civ that has obscene housing bonus, the only unique improvement that adds hammers as well as being able to basically pyramid-scheme their way to ridiculous yields all while getting free tile acquisition even if those tiles are already owned by someone else and gets bonus district yields all while having a unique unit that gets a bonus when outside of your territory, which is where all the fighting will take place if you are playing a successful game, and how could you NOT be playing a successful games with all those ridiculous bonuses?!

Maybe you should play some games at settler level on a small map with just Cathy,
Cleo, Gorgo, Vicky and Tomyris. Eventually, the rougher types like John and Jadwiga
will work out why nobody is inviting them into their games.

I'm not sure that anything can be done about Alexander. He really is one of those
"special" types and the best we can do now is not leave sharp or pointy things
lying around where he can find them.

So to get back on topic, have people been able to spawn tones of Great Generals with Alexander
