A-1 poll, one with the most votes wins, second most vote takes deupty

B-2 polls, in the frist, the top 3 people are carried on to a run-off, and from there the top 1 and 2 are scelected

C-PM Polls, where you rank each person from first to last in each department, and send it as a PM to the elections officer. {info leader or someone else if chosen so}

A would create a system like so:
lets say 3 people are running for mayor, 2 want to build a school, and 1 wants to not build it. 60% of the people want a school to be built. when election time comes, the 2 that want a school split the vote 30-30 and the other one, gets 40, and wins the election, even though, its clear, the people want someone else.

C would take along time to do, thats 450 votes you have to count, and rank, and order, and mix, and match... you would need ALOT of time to do this, hours I mean...

B is a compromise

A.

It is just for fun, and the ministers aren't supposed to have any real power anyway. They are to carry out the will of the people through the polls they setup. If they don't do that they can be impeached. I is to be hoped that the polls that the ministers set up are well thought out and have multiple choices that will represent most people's opinions.

well the final decision is Corn's, they are his rules, but he isnot online right now. hopefully, he will reply to this with the rule

Pellaken....I've told you several times....you polling idea is EXCELLENT, but there is NOT enough time to make it work!!!

We only have 2 days for elections, if we had a week....we could pull it off, but not in two days.

Why do you insist on insisting!!!

I tell you....your one step away!!! One step!!

Corn... if you read the thread, yes read, as in actually pay attention to it, you'll see that I did realise that. I realised it last night infact, why do you think I proposed B then? One Step, One Step, you tell me? well well, if that it how we take a question on how to vote when you wont even answer...

edit-

I apoligise, this is a bit to hostile, let me re-write it now that emotions are not a factor

Corn... *sigh*... your right. So then how will we vote? what about in the event of a tie?
