HqNES1 - Modern Mayhem

Very well :) Since this is now page two... please note a slight update to Production Points in the rules. Shortly, it states that a province can only grow it's PP by 2 per turn and no province can make more than 12 PP per turn.

Why are you giving him more PP? That seems a bit unfair to give him extra PP over the rest of us, considering that that 3 PP is in reality 6 PP when he doubles his amount.

I am doing it because he bought 3 heavy tanks, but since I've merged tanks into one and at a lower cost he should get back 1 PP per tank. So, it's not an increase in his PP. It's simply giving back those few points he overpaid. They aren't going to be doubled or any such. But, yeah, I should have PM'ed it

It's ok panda... if you want the position is currently open since my better half is sick with whatever I had a few days ago, so she's in no condition to be a pain ;)

Nah, I appreciate people speaking up when something seems odd so it can be cleared up rather than be misunderstood and then become some kind of... I don't know... grudge or disappointment :)

come on any1! does anybody want to play as britain!? There up for grabs.
Also, if u want more of a challenge, join as turkey or greece or iraq. Or be the ukraine. Or, play the small nation with nukes(isreal)

I'll correct swizz ;)

I have PM's from Stalin and from ... Grandmaster I think. Definately Italy and Germany. I'll do more work on the nations soon. Cooking now, will resume work afterward :)

edit: Andis, if you want you can respend the Russian income and buy some alternative units since we haven't started yet.

Stalin, if you wan't something else than you've bought, then there's time to redo it.

well i spent every single PP  didnt i?

EDIT: nvm, ill resent orders soon. So is this mainly a board game nes right? :)

It is mainly a board NES, yes :) Stalin, you did spend everything, but you paid 6 PP per tank, but price has fallen to 5 PP giving you a saving of one on each tank. And since you bought 3, it gives you 3 points to spend on something else :)

Orders are more than welcome already. If I get them all then I will update in about 48 hours. Still need a check-in from MjM though and Kal'Thzar I think. I'll PM people in a day though if nothing happens. They might be busy.
If I do not get all orders, then I will make first update on Wednesday. With the new year coming people might be a little too busy Saturday to send orders ;)

I added a point called turnorder in the rules, mainly to quickly illustrate how things will be done as it is mainly a board nes. Basically it says that new units bought in the "purchase" part of the orders aren't available until your next order set. So, if you buy 20 infantry then they can't attack on the same turn.

Clear enough?

I'll PM our two missing players. Orders are welcome :) Purchases and attacks if any.

Any lurkers interested in playing this gentle introduction into NESsing? :)

if you still have my orders, just put the PPs into Nuclear Research.
(how many do i need to finish research?) PM answer :p

Can u give me spain :) ?

I would send orders anyway :)

Rules said 4PP required for increasing 1 point. Can my order will be 1pp now and then 3pp the next order? So I would gain fully 1 point after I have fully spent 4pp?

Of course you can have Spain :)

Spain has an income of 20 PP. That means that first of all you need to spend 40 PP on initial purchases. What you buy with them is what you have when the game starts.

Your first orders is about what you will do with the PP you gain per turn. That means that for every orderset you have 20 PP (more or less if you build industry or lose territories). Also, orders should include any attacks you like to make, where and with how many forces.

I'm also sending you a reply to your PM.

If you're building industry, then you need to spend all the PP for upgrading at once. If you have 1 PP left and want to spend 3 PP next turn for the upgrading, then just put that PP in the bank. It doesn't make much difference to me where I put the stat, but it gives you players more flexibility.

Just clearing up some confusion.

You all have twice your PP to spend on initial purchases. That is your starting army when game kicks off and we start. It is what the nation has built for some time and includes spending for the last many months. Now though, military budgets explode.

So, I need to know what you want to have for your double PP.
That is what you start with. You will have that when you send your first orders.

In those orders you get PP based on your nations production, ie Morocco would get 5 points to spend. That means your first orders should tell me what you want to build with your regular PP income and where you want to attack, if anywhere. To clarify:

Pregame:
Spend twice your PP on initial starting units.

Gamestart:
You have whatever you purchased pregame.

Orders:
You get more production equal to your PP. Those units/upgrades enter play after any attacks you make has been resolved.

I update and we get to a new order set. :)

I have initial purchases from most people and will add it later today. I have regular orders for Turn 1 from Andis-1 :)
