This is still a deity game, with a variant that can make it much harder even. If all runs smooth we will win it by domination, but we need to play by that standard too and I would really like to win it.
Nothing personal, but I got this game in a pitfull state. Many cities have specialists without any reason. I know we have built our core very close so size 12 is not always possible, but we have many more cities on zero growth or even starvation than needed. What is worse: our best city in spt Lugdunum has a worthless 538 shield palace pre-build, while we miss The Pentagon, which makes our armies size 4. We have no chance to get a wonder with beeing behind in tech - what a waste. On the other hand we have rushed the military academy in German Salts, a totally currupt city in the middle of jungle on a remote island. Please reread what the military academy does.

I have played 11 turns to get us back in the rhythm.
Pre: Waste 138 shields in Lugdunum and one turn of production to get The Pentagon, which we needed many turns ago. Remanage some towns.
1150AD: Germany and America sign a trade embargo vs us. Gained a leader - I attack with elites, because we will kill Germany on our turns which will trigger the Bad Apple anyways.
1160AD: Herakleia razed.
1170AD: --
1180AD: Cataractonium founded. Delphi taken.
1190AD: Berlin taken. Deva founded.
1200AD: Sumeria and Greece sign peace. America and Greece sign trade embargo vs us. Magnetism in - we have entered the industrial ages. Steam Power next.
1210AD: Lincoln demans TM and 23 gold and gets it. New Entremont founded. Athens taken.
1220AD: --
1230AD: Leipzig taken and Germany is out. Thermopylae, Argos taken. We renew peace with Lincoln. We give furs, silks and 16gpt for wines to Sumeria. Can't pay Abu for incense, but we don't need to now.
1240AD: We take Thessalonica and Corinth and Greece is out. New Alesia, New Lugdunum founded. Arabia and Babylon sign MPP.
1250AD: Rearrangement.
Some things I would like to mention:
We have settlers on the way to fill open spaces east of the fish near Thessalonica, east of the dear near Corinth, north of the dear in the swamps (worker must clear first) and 2 southwest of the silks in the jungle.
The road to Germany Salts will complete next turns and dyes will be online, we may adjust lux then.
We miss many improvements in our core, especially universities and banks.
Regarding war I think we should not wait long and take out England or Sumeria first. England is still strong vs us, so you will have to make heavy use of our armies, but they only have a few cities. After that we can take out Arabia and probably have enough land to trigger domination without any need to bother with Abe.
Steam Power will be in in 11 turns. Please arrange RR teams of 6 native workers or equivalent short before it is in. I would suggest Industrialization after that - maybe you can arrange a trade - I could not.
