I Challenge Empire's "Superior Diplomacy."

Yes to the first, no to the second. I have a problem with army size in single-region factions, not with rebels.

Yes, I am still wondering how Georgia can have some 15 units while I, as the Ottomans am struggling to pay for 25 units.

Wrong thread.

Not sure if this is the correct thread, but can new nations be formed with the new patch?

I was playing as Great Britain, and after overcoming my first challenge with my economy, (my trade ships in India were attacked by pirates), Albany of the 13 Colonies broke off from us and created the United States of America.

Now I am sure the above could happen, but what was even more perplexing, the 13 colonies declared war on the new United States, I gladly came to their assistance and Albany fell the next turn, I always figured, that if one of the "colonies" left, the rest would follow. (thinking it was hard coded in the game or something.)

Is this a bug or is it just due to my quick response? (the latter was more luck as I had a ship full of troops going north from Florida to take Newfoundland from the French and they were just outside Albany when the "revolution" took place.)

Regardless, I gave it back to the 13 colonies, but built/recruited a fleet and army to permanently stay near the 13 colonies in case it happens again.

It would be because the public order in that region will have reached a low level, causing it to revolt and form the USA, as any of the 13 colony provinces will do.

I knew that, my question was looking for a different answer, so it was not entirely clear. I apologize.

When the USA emerges as an rebelling faction in the 13 Colonies, does the rest of the 13 colonies follow? This is what my question was aimed for, and the one thing I was concerned about before crushing the USA in New York and ending the rebellion.

Did I just move too fast for it to spread or is it not hard coded or what?

Usually, I see the USA as just getting to be an OPM, except it gets into the list of Great Powers for whatever reason. Never makes any effort to expand, and none of the other Colonies ever join it.

The only way for all the colonies to form the USA at once is if Great Britain is destroyed. Otherwise, one will form and the rest MIGHT follow, depending if they rebel also.
