I got a copy of Warlords

Yes, the HA states -10% city attack.

Not sure if Keshik has the -10%, it doesn't specifically list that it does... maybe just an oversight.
Or it maybe not! That would end up being a bonus to the Keshik now if the Keshik doesn't indeed have that penalty. I must say though, with all the Protective/Wall/Castle/UB(Dun, Citadel, etc) focus, I am rather surprised that they have reduced the strength of HA's attacking the city (all though it would make realistic sense - as would the Keshik having the same thing). Must note though, that it is only realistic IF there is a city wall there. No wall, no problems for the HA and Keshiks.

Is it possible to play the scenarios on epical and marathon speeds, or must you use the amount of turns they have pre set?

These are the days where I wished I was still young so I can play all night without being totally tore up at work tomorrow.

Terrain is different? How? Are you talking about the scenario or the main game. It would make sense if it were a scenario

Did the cossacks really get nerfed that badly? Their only unique boost is +50% versus mounted units? That's horrible. I was looking forward to playing Catherine with the Imperialistic trait (although I loved Financial). I don't encounter too many mounted units when rampaging with cossacks.

Oh well, I guess they were overpowered before...

Regarding -10% for city attack, I think that is designed specifically for HA

The Keshik probably specifically does not have that penalty (so that the Mongols are the only ones that can pull off a pure HA rush)

Chariots, Knights, War Elephants, and Cavalry, etc. probably still attack cities as normal (because they can't get the City Raider promotion)

So main game Changes: (previously unreported for Warlords and not in 1.61)

HA, not Keshiks, get -10% City Attack
Quecha get Free combat 1 (to make up for Incan loss of Aggressive, and render them useful)

No, someone was just complaining about how the Asian civs got new city art but the Middle East civs didn't.

My question is, HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET IT! I pre-ordered it from Amazon 10 days before it was "released", and it still hasn't been shipped yet, a day after it supposedly came out. None of the game stores in my local area have it, so how did anyone get it yet?!

It would be REALLY nice if Firaxis would try releasing games when they say they're going to, rather than making up release dates out of no where that aren't even true.

My copy is waiting for me at the store in NYC :) I just need to go pick it up... maybe I'll leave work early!:king:

From the manual, it doesn't look like it. it lists a number of turns the scenarios. (300 turns for the Mongol scenario)

I don’t know other than the scenarios which I don’t ever play

not enough stuff has been added or changed to make me feel the game is fresh and new

However, If I played scenarios I would buy this expansion

like someone said before more game changes seem to have taken place in 1.61 than in warlords , seven pages of this thread seems to have proved this.

I think all the changes made to the existing leader traits should not be considered a trifling thing. Also the additon of new civs seems good to me.

Baskin Robbins may have 31+ Flavors, but Vanilla still remains the number most popular flavor of Ice Cream. Go figure.

Cities are apparently culturaly realisitical looking now, depending on what civ you are. Apparently they (Firaxis) didn't take the time to make Middle East and Far East/Oriental civs different. They're just "Asia" So Ottomans, Arabians, Koreans, Japanese, Mongols and Chinese all look the same!
