I just returned from a four day school trip to Quebec city (in Canada, in the provence of Quebec) and I realised it was a great place to have a vacation. I had a load of fun. It's a very beatiful city with lots of history, the part of Quebec known as old Quebec is walled in with a wall hundreads of years old and has a costal fortress that still stands today! Quebec is the only city in North America that's walled in. During the winter they host Carnival the largest party in the cold on earth (But I don't reccomend going there in the winter, kinda chilly).

Anyway I don't wanna spoil anything so I won't say anything else. However, if you go there make sure you get a guided tour and maybe stay in Montreal for a few days and see a Montreal Canadains game. (That's a Pro Hockey team if you don't know.)

BTW-Don't be thinking no one there knows English because most people do.

Are you an American visiting Canada for a school trip? That is neat that they would send you to Quebec just for school. They always sent me to like, the city park.

Nah, I'm from Ontario.

Actaually, Canada is a popular field trip in America (at least where i live), especially for French language classes, its a great opportunity to visit and meet naitve speakers of the language you are studying, and for many students it would be the first time they have ever left the country. I might go to Canada myself for vacation: my parents went there, and they loved it. I would love to learn more about Canadian history, etc etc, and I enjoy the Canadian people, although i dodnt usually agree with their politcal views, thats hardly a way to judge a person!
