Paradox have just announced a free-to-play FPS/RTS hybrid of a steampunk American Civil War. Any further words to describe this myself will not give full justice on how awesome or stupid (Depending on your opinion. I pick awesome) this game looks like.

I'll be playing the 2060-only version.

I'll actually most likley play with both, but if I find the 2060s units to be boring/op, I'll do a1860s only.

I wouldn't get it for the 1860s only mode, I seem to recall them still using line infantry not loose squares. I'd love to get my copy of Sid Meier's Gettysburg working on XP :/

Ditto. I haven't been able to find a realistic FPS Civil War in ages. I have an Activision one, but it won't work on my new computer.

It doesn't work on XP? I once got the demo for it, and it worked fine.

If it was an alt history steam-punk Byzantine empire vs Seljuks i would probably be more interested, although this is a tactical strategy game and i am not really fond of those
