I think it's forum tabernarium because the adjective and the noun must agree. Or maybe you meant the tabern(s) of the forum, which should be taberna(e) fori. Or maybe you just meant the tavern, which should be either popina or taberna. But whatever you meant, one thing is sure: the current name, which translates as "the forum the tavern" is not completely wrong (it could also translate as "the forum tavern"), but sounds weird.

I think it should be called the forum temporarium since it's an April Fool's Day joke.

Or just don't post in forum Taberna.
If you open a thread in FC and it gets moved here do not post in it and ask for it to be closed.

Actually taberna simply means ´shop´ (and not necessarily a large one at that). It has little to do with our word tavern (except that tavern if obviously derived from Lat. taberna). The combination Forum Taberna (forum named Taberna, literally) suggests that the author was, possibly, thinking of shop talk. (Since the other forum is named Forum Civilium, which would suggest civil talk.)

Yeah, that's been bugging me too. If you wanna use Latin names to sound pretentious for your April Fool's joke, at least get the grammar right.

I think it should be called Forum WAAHMBULUM.

The capitalized form of the letter u in Latin is V, so it should be WAAHMBVLVM.

Now i understand why people keep calling me tabernak.

Oh no, there comes the quebecois and his curses which sound like you're attending mass.

yes, give it an even more impronuncible and anachronistic name, why don't you.

I like "The Asylum".
