Conservatives dont care about the people only the upper class, they just wage wars to get oil (iraq war) and give tax breaks to wealthy businesmn. rthe republicans are so corrupt its been proven so many times.

I know that I am late to this thread, but here are my thoughts:

Enough goverment to keep law and order.
The rich don't have to be robbed.
Kill off criminals and corruption.
Vigilante justice+A police state would be nice.
Close the borders.

I consider myself neither a Democrat or a Republican, but a capitalist. I support limited government intervention in both social aspects and the economy, and I feel neither party comes close to this. It'll be a tough decision when I start voting next year.

You sir are a solid libertarian. They take flak from both Democrat and Republican equally.

I on the other hand am a social liberal, economic centrist.

and yes, American politics nowadays isn't conservative in the least. Nowadays its all about who differs on foreign policy and social issues. All parties want to spend an assload of money, they just disagree in how to spend it.

Not small government, not even close.
