Idea for a NES

I have just finnished reading the Da Vinci code which is a fantastic read. In fact if you havent read it yet, DROP EVERYTHING AND DO SO IMMEDIATLEY Anyways the point I am getting at is do you guys think it could be possible to have a nes that represents the diffrent sects of the Catholic Church? Perhaps Christianity as a whole?

Anyways the point I am getting at is this nes would be a divergence form the normal you are one nation and I am the other nation and lets have a war type of nes?

I think adding more religions would make the alliances far more predictable, and thus the game itself less fun. Using sects of just one religion, however, allows no predictable alliances/agreements.

but thats not what the nes would be about

anyway, if started, I'd be an aspect- the Mitraic aspect- perhaps you could choose another one of the "heathen" religions (like th ecult of isis) that had an impac ton christianity, and had some secret devotes in the clergy (need prrof of the isis-influence? well tell me why Mary is so revered, when she has no real holy aspect besiseds being the carryier of the supposed messiah )

all fo christianity has strong "heathen" influnces- the olny thing that comes close to christianity how it was origniaonlly practiced is coptic and arian christanity, and coptic bnarelly survies in egypt, and the arian christianity has a single church in armenia; all closer forms have been extinguished, thus leaving room for vas tinfluences from other religions, and those wonderful conspericy theories like the Di Vinci code, amoung others

The Catholic Sects would wish to become a pope. Certain protestant relgions will be included. They kinda wish to push back the Catholics.

I must admit in Real life I acutally believe Mary Magdalene was Jesus's wife and the Metogovian Kings of France in the 800's is descendant from this bloodline.

I am trying to work out a time when the nes starts. I am also only going to be using a map of Europe to make it more confined and also limit the other relgions. I will permit one Jewish faction for Warman and that will be all.
