Does anyone have ideas for Aztec or Mayan Leaders? Just in general more leaders would be appreciated .

You are aware of the leaderheads created for various civs in Creation and Customization, right?

Anyway, I guess I have to say:

Gaius Gracchus, Rome. Favors Representation, Charismatic/Organized, maybe?

Yes, I am aware of the leaderheads created by people. I think Henrique should be a leader as he was involved in Portugal's early exploration. Maria the II I know isn't a great leader, but she's a better leader than Salazar;). Also, if we shoudn't include bad leaders than why are Mao Zedong and Stalin included. But I see your point, Maria II isn't great but she's better than Maria "the Mad".

If you are modding, you might use the gods of the various civs instead of leaders, and with a new set of traits.

Quetzacotl (Maya): Sacrificial (1/2 happiness penalty for whips), Communal (1/2 maintenance for city no. and pop.)

Thor (Viking): Pioneering (+1 movement of all boats and scouts), Destructive (triple gold for pillage)

God of Abraham (American, Ottoman, Russian, German, Spanish): Patriotic (+1 GPP per specialist), Evangelical (-50% espionage bonus against civs with different state religion where your shrine religion is present in that city)

Ganesha (Indian Elephant god): Communal (1/2 maintenance for city no. and pop.), Celebratory (double length of golden age)

Dalai Lama (China): Reincarnation (50% GP bonus to great Prophet after GProphet birth), Communal

Atheist (English, perhaps Russian): Rational (+25% research with university), Theatrical (10% culture at 5% cost to commerce slider)

Mr Sulu, I wish your thread a long and fruitful existence :)

George W Bush - Imperialistic, Moronic (-10% Research, -15% Great People Points, +20% War Weariness)

Dalai Lama (China): Reincarnation (50% GP bonus to great Prophet after GProphet birth), Communal
If this represents modern china, you do realize the Dalai Lama has formed an opposition government(the Central Tibetan Administration) against Chinese policies in Tibet?

Uh oh, here comes the politics

Instead of just lazily posting a sarcastic picture (anyone can do that) maybe take a minute or two to actually explain why you think the post is worthy of ridicule?

For starters, Quatzelcoatl was Aztec, the Dalai Lama historically ruled Tibet, not China, Adonai or Jehovah would be a much better name than "God of Abraham", Vishnu and/or Rama are a much better candidate for a Hindu leader of India, and Perun should be the Russian leader.

Ok thanks, interesting. You certainly have some valid points there.

Henrique as in Henry the navigator, like pesgores said, he was never king. He was the Portuguese leader in Civ3 but there so was Jeanne d'Arc, so yeah :p

A more interesting choice would be Afonso Henriques, the first king of Portugal. His traits could be two out of Agg, Cha, Exp or Imp and his favorite government and religion Hereditary Rule & Christianity.

He was undoubtedly more important to Portugal than Maria II ever was.

As for Salazar, yeah, it would be in poor taste. I mean, he was no Stalin nor Mao, but the overall balance of the Estado Novo was deeply negative. I see no reason why he should be a leader, rather than some others that actually lead Portugal to prosper, like for example, Maria II. ;)
