[IDEA] [Military Logistics tech and National Pentagon wonder]

A little idea to make the Pentagon a national unit.

Prereq: a new tech, Military Logistics (or Logistics) that requires Military Science and another tech (Railroad sounds good to me).

National Wonder: National Defense Center
Graphic: suggestion: smaller scaled version of Pentagon,
reskinned to look more generic (maybe bronzed, maybe with small scale cavalry unit in it well, as a statue).

Effect is +2 experience points for units built in all cities.
Cost: about 20% cheaper than Pentagon wonder.


Similar change: Make Pentagon give +3 experience points for all units in all cities + an espionage bonus for the city it's built in. Cost is same as BTS 3.13, but the benefit is of course that it's unique, and available sooner than the National Wonder version.
 
In the Civil War mod I'm working on, the Pentagon is converted to "Military HQ", it is a national building.

Its pre-requisites are different, in my mod, its prereq is "modern formations", though both Logistics, and Advanced Logistics are techs that already exist in the mod.

Its really not very difficult to do this, or something similar.

I even added in a "Lieutenant" unit that acts just like a great general, but only gives 15xp, while GG has been bumped up to 30, to make them more valuable. Lieutenant can be built, and is not a so called great person, but they require a military academy, which requires a great general first...

seems cool to me :)
 
Sounds cool.

Actually, though I like the idea of making this building available with Railroad, Industrialism would be more in line with making it parallel the Eiffel Tower / Broadcast towers.

I'm just throwing out random ideas of things to slightly buff up the standard game. Maybe one day I'll actually get motivated to mod. :lol:
