If I'd told you four years ago...

Dommy if you think taxes are theft stop using government funded roads, stop drinking water out of the tap, stop going to parks and hanging out with whatever friends you have, id include school but you don't go to it

Accessory after the tax. Now we are all criminals.

I think charity would be able to maintain the military in the US.

I mean, who cares about old or poor or ill people, they're such a depressing bunch. No one gives a crap about them. Through observation and study of the Homo Americano I have concluded they really like guns and wars and are really afraid of terrorism. More than they have compassion for other people.

Who's with me? :)

Who isn't with you are:
  • the militaro-industrial complex (obviously);
  • big oil;
  • Wall Street.

I can't speak for anyone else.

If we roll with that line of reasoning, I'm still only recovering what was stolen from my parents to pay for the education in the first place.
The best thing about this sentence is that you are exactly like the people you criticize: you believe that you're entitled to the things you take out of the system.

Which is ironically exactly the attitude that keeps the system alive.

The foundation is being laid now and the Reichstag fire will come later.

That was 9/11...this has been in motion since REX 84...so yeah not much time left....

I actually am currently in public school too:p

I'd actually donate money to the poor. Not for the war on terror.

I don't see why its inconsistent to call for the abolition of (Insert item here) but still use it if your tax dollars are paying for it.

That's a good question.

Luckily, the account of the poor is always open. And no amount is considered too small.

What is holding you back?

I don't make much right now (Not even employed) and what little I do give I give to my church (Some of which does go to the hungry in our community from our food pantry). But my point was that I consider giving to the poor to be a worthy cause to give to. I don't consider the war on terror a worthy cause.

I'm not even going to tell you "I'm not a selfish self-righteous jerk." I don't claim any kind of moral high ground. I am. But that's not because of my politics. Me being a libertarian and me being a self-righteous jerk are not intristically linked. If I became a socialist, I'd still be a jerk:p

The government can't spy on you if you care to be hidden.

Yeah, I basically just did;)

Taxation for redistributive purposes is what I would consider to be theft.

What no

Then your whole (fallacious) logical construct that structures taxation as theft falls apart. You can't do this. You claim something based on a number of premises you set, change the premises, and then conclude the same claim. Ie you're moving the goalposts. And not even in a neutrally slightly annoying way - you're doing it to harass things that help people and provide for growth. To me, it's actually a little offensive that you believe your new ordeal is theft.
