After some second thought I came to this conclusion:
Not inventing computers is as impossible as inventing a perpetuum mobile.
There have been mechanical computers for about 150 years. There were electric tube computers before transistor computers before micro-chip computers.
There could be hydraulic or pneumatic computers, whatever. Research is working on DNA and quantum computers.
What is my point? There is no way to rule out the making of computers, without destroying the basic principle of our world, that is - logic.
It is more likely that I'm king-of-the-world, than that there are no 'puters.
