If you could explore any part of the world, where would you go?

I'd love to someday explore China. I'd take a tour guide/translator with me, my family, a Range Rover, and enough food and supplies to last me a month. Then I'd travel throughout the country, going through jungles, mountains, ruins, anywhere interesting. Doing that is definitely one of my life goals.

If there were no restrictions (financially), where would you go and what would you do?

I would want to go to the Galapagos Islands. They were inspirational to Darwin, and they certainly have nice tortoises and other bio forms. Would love to go there someday.

wow, if money isnt and object and safety is a non concern, i will like to explore around the world !!

But if only on specific region. Then it will be in this order.

Japan (scenery, culture, food, girls), Mediterranean (scenery, culture, food, girls), Europe (scenery, culture, food, girls), Caribbean (scenery, culture, food, girls), China (scenery, culture, food, girls), South America (Culture, food, girls), Africa (Scenery).

I'd visit the east coast with my fiance and maybe take a trip to England. If I wanted to explore a part of the world I'd explore Iraq. I hear that the desert caves are particularly beautiful this time of the year.

South America holds the most interest currently for me.

China has always interested me. If I was exploring... I'd have to say Egypt or Arabia.

One of my goals is to visit all 7 continents. I'd really like to run a marathon and do some scuba diving in Antarctica. Not as interesting as some other places, but it certainly would be

All of Russia, eastern Siberia in particular.

If it has to be a smaller area then Mongolia.

I'd get a kick out of exploring Japan, China and Korea.

The diamond mines of Katanga; I'm sure afterwards I could afford to go anywhere else.

I would literally drive around the world! Drive north from Oregon to where the ice is solid enough to drive to the northeastern tip of Russia, drive down to Vladivostock and try to drive along side the trans-siberian railroad to Moscow, drive through the balkans, Italy, southern France, do a U turn in Spain, northern France, take the chunnel to the British Isles an find a ship that will take me and my car to Iceland, tool around there and take a boat to mainland Canada, drive along the North American continent coast down to Florida, then drive directly west across the American desert, then north through California then home again!

And I'd use one of those highly adaptable truck things that you could attach a snow plow or a cow catcher or anything else on the front and attach a mobile home and fuel tanks to the back.
