I think if China is going to merge with anyone theyd be the obvious choice, massive political, ethnic and cultural ties

I wish the 4 Scandinivian countries would merge... it would be a brilliant country

Apart from the fact that there are only 3 Scandinavian countries, I basically agree ( I might have some reservations on closer consideration, though). And make it 5 Nordic countries at least.
However in the past that remained a pipe-dream due to Norway's preference - that of being an American vasall, while now the obstacle is this conservative gentlemen's club which goes by the name of the EU.

I dunno but can't they create such ties by getting more profitable territory and then just moving Chinese in the newly conquered area ? Why would they Chinese merge with Mongolia anyway ?
