thanks to rabbit W (mounted templar/weapons) and sezereth (paladin), i will be crushing your head and splitting your bones with these units....they are pretty realistic reskins, the helmet wings and shoulder pads come off easily with nif viewer.

think it has to do with number of posts, i guess since i dont post much, i am not yet "trusted" and the file has to be checked by some moderator:confused: i could just attach the file but i am trying to be nice and play by the rules:D

i like the units, but the knight animations really dont go very well with the mace and axe, or any other weapon besides a sword, i tried using companion cavalry animations and keshik animations (the teutonic knight was supposed to have a spear/lance) but i end up with freaky stuff like this
 
Nice but too big weapons. Humans can't wield weapons that weigt over 100kg. But maybe they are demonic?

i swear it's not me:( the same thing happened with the germanic units but woodelf came to the rescue and did something to fix it:goodjob:

They aren't demonic. But you're right: the mace is too big to hold it in just one hand. The axe could be a borderline case.:dunno:

Awesome work. Are you planning to do more fantasy units?? Because if you are I have a couple of units I need done for my mod. Anyways these units will be included as among the elite of all nonmagical warriors.

yeah, i like the lance idea, i think rabbit W has one in a weapon pack and i am going to try to "bone" the knight (he, he) to a keshik....in any case, the animations are not "perfect". the knight "standing" animations with any weapon other than sword looks a little wierd, but i can imagine the knight with keshik "standing" animations is going to have a nasty headache, bumping his head with his shield alot :crazyeye: the horesman standing animations look like they could work, BUT in battle, he both swings and thrusts his weapon, which would look weird with lance, axe or mace :aargh:.....
NOW...if only we could "merge" the standing animations of the horseman with fight animations of kinght and/or keshik for different weapons...now we are talking!!!11:goodjob: does this all sound just too obsessive?????/

Maybe if you got 4 hands you could use it for a while :p, but too few people who have not used a real weapon know how heavy it will become after a little while. A normal broad sword (one hand) weight about 2kg (4 pounds). That axe weight at least ten times more (if it's not aluminium or something :p).

I have made a knight with templar body, knight helmet, and the lance. He looks fine with your texture. Now, I will re-equip him with the knight horse...
