Praetorian Claims

@Arakhor- I'd be happy to agree to a trade agreement. You have stated an intention to claim south africa, and I have already claimed the west Cape area. I would like to keep this, but am happy to allow you the rest of the Region. If you feel you have reason to claim in scotland and Ireland then Carthage supports your doing so.

@Sonereal- Carthage sends condolences to all who lost freinds or relatives in the recent Incident. Is this plane Hijacking a reason for worry? As a trading Nation Carthage is highly concerned with security of it's trade routes, and a lost cargo ship would be terrible thing.
Carthage is watching with Interest the discussions in Moscow, and hopes the final treaty will be satisfactory for all involved. We support the Idea of at least some alliance between the russian nations, as we feel it will aid stability in the World. War may be more profitable, but the Union is Comitted to peace. We are similarly interested in the Karakorum talks.

@ Carthage: I appreciate the offer, but right now, I'm waiting to see what happens. I fear entering into an alliance rashly and then becoming overly obligated to an alliance and being pulled into wars or uncomfortable situations as a thrid party. I want to wait until the new world order developes more before I sign any defense or other military treaties. Thank you for the offer; I hope you will understand.

@DT: Its simple. Stay out of Asia (except the agreed territories in our discussion) and we will stay out of you. Unless you go back on this agreement, we wont.
@Asia- I got the Message. Don't worry, I won't break our agreement. I'm just looking around for where I can and can't Expand in the Future, guageing reactions to see If: a) I will be able to go there and b) What people will think of me Going there. Asia is obviously not worth the Diplomatic repurcussions.

@Taqat- Don't take it too personal, we don't hate you. Its just that Asia (Precisely what this entails is under debate) is under Union SOI, and all expansions there must be approved by us. India is especially important because of its role in keeping Preatoria out of conflict with us over China. You can do whatever you want in Africa, we won't give a crap, but Asia belongs to the Union, though the claims you already have we have deemed valid and so you can keep those.
