"Report."

Lieutenant-General Robert Daladier snapped to attention in front of Field Marshal Jameson's desk, saluting smartly before presenting his report.

"As you requested, Lieutenant-Governors have been set up within the provinces," he began, "They have been charged with implementing the Infrastructure Construction Plan."

Jameson nodded. The Infrastructure Construction Plan had been his first order after taking Vancouver - it called for the construction of factories and mines, the building or rebuilding of railways and roads and the reestablishment of proper civil facilities, such as police, education, utilities and so forth. The lions share of the work would be done on the Pacific Coast, where the majority of the population resided.

"How are we paying for this?" asked Jameson.

"Well, we've pilfered every public gold store from here to Edmonton," shrugged Daladier, "It'll suffice for now, but we'll need to establish an overseas trade network."

"We could sell lumber," mused Jameson, "There still a demand for that these days?"

Daladier nodded.

"Good, good," nodded Jameson, "On to military affairs. What state is our army in?"

"It could be better," replied Daladier, "Our infantry is certainly above average..."

Jameson grinned. Having started as a foot-slogger himself, he had an admitted bias towards the training and equipment of them.

"...but our armour is out of date and the less said about the air force, the better," finished Daladier, "We can't operate on old Shermans forever."

"Put out an offer," ordered Jameson, "Get us better tanks and planes, but don't drain the treasury to do it."

Daladier nodded.

"How goes Alaska?" asked Jameson.

"General Fraser informs me that Anchorage has been secured with no casualties," replied Daladier, "She says that the population is rejoicing a return to stable government."

"That could have gone a lot worse," said Jameson, "Call her back to Vancouver, replace her with Windeshott. I have another plan for her."

"Yes sir," replied Daladier, "Um, one more thing - the people have been worried ever since...err..."

"Caen?" replied Jameson, "I don't see what they're worried about. We've plenty of time to prepare for any enviromental affects..."

"They think it's a sign from God, sir."

Jameson rolled his eyes.

"There is no God, Lieutenant-General," he said, "Only us, and the destinies we forge."

He turned his chair, looking out his window over the city.

"That said," he continued, "Superstition can be a weapon. Find a priest, and start spreading rumours. Make them think it's a sign."

"A sign of what, sir?" asked Daladier.

"Of things to come," replied Jameson, "Of a changing era. Of a new dawn."

Daladier nodded hesitantly, before saluting and leaving.

The ‘Triple Alliance’ Formed​

After intensive talks for the last few months, the leadership of Austria-Germany, Australia, and Indonesia have reached an agreement to form a common pact of friendship, joint economic and technological development, and most importantly, a military alliance. The three nations thus formed the so-called Triple Alliance.

This pact is formed under the pressure that the three growing nations must cooperate together for economic stability, technological progress, and also a security during these trying times of conflict. As a huge conflict looms in Vietnam and chains of terrorist attacks swept unstable Europe, this alliance serves as a cooperative tool for the three neutral nations to reach its goal of prosperity through peace.

Though the alliance is currently limited to the three points said above, many more cooperation are to come.

Australia is a relatively new power in the world, their nation have recently reorganized as one after the cataclysm that strikes the world decades ago. Australia’s control of a huge tract of land will serve it a great benefit in the future, it will allow the development of huge solar collector complex to massive algae farm districts. The lands also holds one of the biggest source of Thorium, a substance that is currently on demand around the world as a nuclear fuel. With a treaty of cooperation signed by its growing neighbor Indonesia, Australia may receive a quick boost of economic growth from Indonesian and also Austrian investments.

Austria, which is currently reforming to Germany; is a great power that controls most of central Europe. With a relatively big arable and workable land, and also a currently burgeoning industry; Austria-Germany is poised to be a leading European superpower in the next decades. Austria-Germany is currently ridden by internal terrorist problems and the threat of a rising France. But with a good leadership and a gradually stabilizing political atmosphere, Austria-Germany should be able to eradicate their problems and rise as a great power in the world stage.

Indonesia is a small archipelago nation that lays around the island chain of Southeast Asia. Huge development programs by their government have massively boosted Indonesian economy and makes Indonesia one of the world’s biggest economy. Negotiations to secure its hegemony in the region through negotiations with its neighbors plus the current neutrality policy have allowed Indonesia to rise in the trying times of war. With more development projects ongoing, added by new treaties of cooperation with numerous other nations; Indonesia is poised to be World’s leading economic power.

As development projects starts to reach its completion stages and new industries are starting to roll out new products; The Indonesian economic powerhouse would soon require new resources and would also need to secure a market in a potential economic power. Recently, Indonesia have secured the rights of economic investment in New Rhodesia and Mozambique, and programs of developments would soon be commenced by government-funded Indonesian investors in the African nations.
Main projects of the Indonesian investors in New Rhodesia and Mozambique would include:

-The development of roads and other transportation networks infrastructure to improve economic accessibility.
-The construction of tenements to provide decent housing for the Rhodesian people, ensuring basic life needs.
-The building of a major seaport in Maputo, Mozambique which will ensure the economic growth of the city and providing good sea access for foreign vessels.
-The building of local Indonesian industries to give employment for the local citizens and also providing cheaper Indonesian products for Rhodesia by eliminating distant transport costs.
-The rehabilitation of numerous mining facilities around Rhodesia and Mozambique.
This move by Indonesia is based on the Indonesian acknowledgement of Rhodesia as a potential economic powerhouse, as Rhodesian lands provide numerous types of metals that are capable of being used for industrial purposes in abundant levels.

A Free, good quality Healthcare for the people of Indonesia.​

A Quality healthcare is what many considers one of the most important parts in determining how economically and socially prosperous a society is. Its effects can directly be seen directly or in graphs, because a good healthcare determines the balance between life and death.

For a long part of human history, most people does not have access to a good and affordable healthcare. In the early history of healthcare, most public hospitals are filth ridden and dirty, with no proper standards or organization, making hospital a deathly deathbed where people would actually die by the uncontrolled spread of diseases between patients. In these times, only the commoners went to the hospital while the wealthy are able to afford their own doctor and be taken care off in home. As technology and science progresses, healthcare facilities become better by having standards and proper organization; but the problem persists. Good quality hospitals are becoming as unaffordable as calling a private doctor in the early ages. In many advanced nations, being sick would strangle you economically; while in other parts of the world, healthcare remains in a quality similar to the early ages of healthcare.

This is the basis of the latest initiative by President Dearale to provide a good quality healthcare for free in Indonesia. With numerous new public and hospitals currently being built, the President targets that Indonesia should become the healthiest nation in the world, or at least the nation that provides the best accessible public healthcare.
The government understands that healthcare access have always been a problem to most Indonesians as it requires a huge amount of wealth, and now it has become a priority for Indonesia; the initiative is therefore taken.

This healthcare reform will take place gradually due to the fact that erasing fee completely from public healthcare would put a burden into the Indonesian economy. So the first steps undertaken by the Indonesian government would be eliminating the costs of basic healthcare treatments such as checkups and the provision of basic medicament(s) (example: Cough Syrup, Aspirin, skin-balms, etc.). My point was that Rome could have asked the Japanese to demand something else instead of embargoing the people that were until recently Rome's allies because Christos was otherwise occupied to begin with.

And it goes without saying you said in no uncertain terms you now view the regime you were partaking in a international mission against until recently as your ally. A 180 like that does not entitle to say what is and isn't proper diplomacy, nor to claim that calling your actions for what they are somehow makes us the International bad guy.
