Imus from MSNBC in trouble for racist remarks!

The ones that hired the stripper? It wasn't like the were innocently playing in a National Championship Game.

So because they hired a stripper, they deserved to have their names and reputation dragged through the mud being convicted by the media as rapists before any of them got a chance in a court house? Honestly the hypocrisy in this nation astounds me. I think Patrice O'Neil said it best this morning when he said black leaders should just come out and say, "We want double standards."

They weren't convicted. Anybody charged with a crime in this country ends up "guilt" in the eyes of the media until they clear themselves. Some, like the Duke boys, get adequate legal representation and don't serve time. Some end up with bad legal representation and end up having to stay in prison for decades before DNA evidence gets them released.

Patrice O'Neil? The black comedian?

Yes, a frequent participant of Opie and Anthony. I'm still trying to find the video of his recent tv apperance discussing this whole issue. I've only listened to the audio, but it was classic how he was tearing into the hosts condemning Imus.

So this excuses the witch hunt lead by Jessy and Al who convicted them through media and turned the whole ordeal into a race issue. They have no right demanding apologies from others, when their own accusations have led to far greater distress than one bad remark on a radio broadcast.

I loved him on Collen Quins show.

He is hilarious, and I love his straightforward attitude to everything.

Here is the complete audio of his appearance on Hannity. He comes on after a couple minutes. Unfortunately Opie and Anthony don't upload their audio of their shows, so I can't get what he said this morning up.

Hannity Appearance

And just as kind of reference of where his ideas come from, here's his appearance after the whole Michael Richards incident.

That is a very VERY smart man! I support everything he said. He makes some very good points I didn't think of. His point is the point I would have liked to have made in my posts.

It also sparks another thought from me... As a general rule for social relations, If you want respect, first you have to display respect. IF respect is what you want, you'll have to give a display of what your idea of respect is.

You know, I think if Dr. King Jr were alive today he would have some serious issues with what has been going on the past 10-20 years in culture and how things have been handled withing black leadership. He fought for equality (equal rights) and for respect and compassion to your fellow neighbor but these days that's been morphed by Sharpton and Jackson to be semi-racist against white folk and to beat up on every grumpy old man and others who have a brain fart with invovling a few careless words, but those people are irrelevent to society as a whole. Why not work to fix something that ACTUALLY MATTERS? Jim Brown has done many a great work for the black community and ghetto neighborhoods and even he implied that Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are tools.

Jim Brown would make a better leader than either one of those guys.

MLK Jr would be ashamed at the lack of compassion those 2 men have. And he would work within the core of the communities to fix the social and cultural issues occuring. If you can get rid of the poverty, gangs, and teach to be more tolorate and loving of one another, then you can get rid of the hate an rid ourselves of the negative culture and then finally get some respect.

semi-racist? you mean racist, ignorant and annoying. Jimmy's got it right!

I loved him on Collen Quins show.

That show was excellent. I held a grudge against Colbert for awhile because he pretty much guaranteed it won't be back. :/ At least not in the same time slot, but midnight's pushing how late I'm willing to stay up, and that show couldn't run before 11.

Back to your regularly scheduled race wars...
