In Game Crashes Please Help?

I curently have the civ3 vanilla v1.07f I installed the v1.29f patch but when i'm playingand i soppose to get a great leader after an elite unit wins it crashes whith a (error loading Art/Units/leader/leader.INI) can someone please help me I'm getting tired of uninstalling and reinstalling. Is there a walkthru on installing a patch? P.S. THIS MIGHT HELP THIS MIGHT BE A PART OF THE PROBLEM Changes v1.29f:

* Editor: Changed the rename unit confirmation message to only be displayed if there is no corresponding folder and .INI file for the new name.

Can someone tell me what It means?
