Dang, I did not know that part of my sig is tiering and annoying to other people. I just use it (as I said earlyer) as a form of solidarity with other Catholics since there are so few of us around this forum.

Anyways, mine is the link for my blues band. We're kind of a big deal :)

Matt, how do you switch between drums and harmonica, that must be a little tricky..?

I'll have a listen once I set up some sound to this computer :)

Great and true quote about Johnny Cash
Links to my favorite threads.
Link to a Buffalo Beast article about the devil.

Good sig.

Okay, Cleric's new title has me laughing up a storm. You'd have to be used to his posting style to appreciate it

And Raisin Bran's "it's not a world war until france surrenders" is remarkably impolite, but hella funny.

But they didn't surrender in the first!

I saw that yesterday on TV just tought it would be funny .... guessed I was right.

I don't know who said that in the first place!

I also took off the Buck 65 song lyrics from my sig. :D

It is a little tricky, and as such, I'm not the regular harmonica player for my band (on our recording, I actually only play drums). I have a harness, similar to the one that Dylan (or anybody who plays harmonica and guitar) uses, and move a mic under my head. Its pretty tricky, because you have all 4 limbs doing something different, AND your mouth. I'm getting better at it.

For a few of the slower songs, I actually leave the drumset and come to the front of the stage, and we go to two harmonicas. Its somewhat of a novelty, but you can do some cool things with it (distort one harp, run the other through a different system, do harmonies, etc). The crowds love it.

I hope you like the music. I admit, the recording quality is not so good...mostly because of our current shoestring budget (we had to use a crappy electronic drumset, since we dont have acsess to drum mics...and the drums sometimes fade in and out)...but I hope our musicanship still shows. It might seem like a copout, but we're better live, until we raise enough money/meet people to make a better recordings, its all we got

The last of the four on your site - I'm Ready - is good! Swinging well, nice and loose, good stuff :)

Ever listen to Tony Joe White? Thought it's a different sound (swamp rock) you might enjoy his harmonica.

Eh, Just a few links about lifestyles/organizations I think are positive. ARA is a totally awesome organization I'm involved with in the northeast, but they're doing awesome work down in jackson mississippi trying to keep the last abortion clinic in the state open against army of god/operation rescue screwballs.

And the last is just a denial of the openly fascist sentiments croppin up in a lot of circles lately.

In some places yes, where it's not an option clinics take the demand.
I think 89% of hospitals don't do abortions and 70-80% of med school students don't learn the process of doing an abortion. That's why ARA feels this clinic is worth fighting for. The army of god is right by saying that if they shut down this abortion clinic they will extremely, perhaps entirely erase abortions in mississippi.

Hey ... that IS good stuff!

Thanks! I'm glad you (and Ironduck) like it. :)
Hopefully, by the end of the summer, before I leave, we can get a more professional recording up there

I thought abortions were seen as a medical issue and as such a right for people? It strikes me as grotesque not to.

Edit - btw, of course they won't erase abortions, only visible abortions. Welcome to the shady world of the back room clinic.

some people, myself included find it morally repugnant.
not much point in any argueing, nobody will give an inch on either side.
edit: seriouly, dont try to argue about this. its pointless and stressful.
