Inhuman NES

Yeah, she's actually Kadael.

Merciary and Luckymoose.

I'll angrily glare at them. That will solve everything.

Is there a campain or are we basically making this up as we go? We can start as soon as there characters are posted right?

You can start right now if you want. Just make up an introduction story of yourself chasing after an anomaly or lounging at a Site.

There may or may not be a campaign

Erlang Shen has not been seen by anyone outside of the Third Eye since his escape from the Keeper facility, so any physical description is speculation at best. Interrogations of some captive Third Eye militants have shown that Shen has taken to wearing a balaclava to hide his disfigured face, and he appears to be wearing the anti-memetic talisman stolen from the Keepers facility to counteract the memetic effects of anomalies that the Third Eye encounters. Aside from that, his appearance at any time is mere speculation.

Erlang Shen does not possess any above average combat skills, and in fact may be weaker in physical combat due to the incident which disfigured him. However, he has proven himself highly intelligent and a masterful tactician. Shen is believed to have masterminded most, if not all, of the major attacks on Keeper locations, and has had similar involvement in attacks on Protector facilities.

Typical job, or as typical as any of the crap us protectors deal with. Some sort of 'hive mind' anomaly, its description was a blob of tentacles with a single head on the top. One in every five people within a twenty mile radius from him are under his complete control; when you get within a mile it bumps up to half of everyone, in addition he can take control through skin contact that's what the briefing told me. Whats worse is those dumb ass keepers already came after him so it knows its being hunted. It released a statement to us saying that if anyone tried to come after him he would kill all of New York, probably a bluff but it doesn't matter.
Intel said it was underground somewhere, we tried gassing the sewers that didn't amount to much more then a crap ton of dead homeless people. On the plus side we now knew it had some kind of bunker. They only downside to his abilities are the ten seconds before he takes control of someone it shows, sometimes as a scream, sometimes as a seizure, sometimes other stuff but there's always something.
I'm going in with nine men, I'm going to have to kill at least two of them, probably five. There are two other seperate teams of ten like mine all closing in on this beasts location from different points. Were in an army truck right now but well get out and enter the sewers asap. Were all fully armed. Each of wears a helmet with built in night vision, infrared, and hud with a map of the sewers. Our outfitting also comes with an armored breast plate that leaves our limbs free, between the two pieces of amour our only real vulnerable point is our neck. Normally any other clothing or armor is up to the individual but for the mission I ordered everyone to cover every inch of skin on their body, and they did. Other then that everyone has a machete a desert eagle and a M16 with equipped grenade launcher; for this particular mission we're also carrying enough ammo to kill half the freaking city.
An announcement comes into the back telling us we have five minutes before we come into range, my men are nervous, twitching and terrified; inside so am I. I have 20% percent chance of dying in five minutes, 50% in the next couple hours! Hell more then that I'm not accounting for the infected! The monster itself! Or the fact that some other anomaly on the other side of the freaking world could blow the whole planet up any god damn second! Calm down. Your in front of your men, you have to stay calm. I reach into one of my pockets and pop a couple pill in my mouth, instantly I feel the bugs jumping around in my head die.
I give a confident smile to my men and they return it.
"We are now entering the zone of influence." the automated speaker says again.

Keepers don't kill anomalies. Protectors do.

I thought they both killed but keepers would capture them if they weren't dangerous? Do I need to edit it, or go farther?

I was under the impression that Keepers would kill an anomaly if circumstances rendered it necessary, though they would much rather capture it intact, while the Protectors kill and destroy with a zero tolerance policy.

Only very very few things are considered too dangerous for keepers.

For instance they would rather kill everyone in a small town then destroy the anomaly.

I'm guessing there's more then a little animosity between the two faction then. lol, like I said I edited the story. Other then that tidbit is my opening okay?

Yup, it is.

How small a town?

Also, on an off-note, Lucky's apparently a bit hesitant about joining, being concerned that you have an OOC grudge against him or some such.

You know for the briefest of moments when I was writing that I thought I was making the protectors overpowered, then I remembered what we fight and thought naaaah.

Hmm?

Why would I have that?

I have nothing but respect for the luckiest moose. It is true that i think he's an insane insensitive maniac who should be shot before he harms himself and others, but respect nonetheless.
