Install Disc won't load.

So I just got Civ 5 for my mac. It's a 2009 Macbook Pro that meets or exceeds all the minimum system requirements. My DVD drive works fine, but when I put in the installation disc in, it doesn't even load. After a long time, the folder finally showed up in the Finder, but it appears to be empty, and it's called "untitled DVD". Did they sell me a blank disc?

Sounds as if it's a faulty DVD.

Even stranger, it works on my sister's iMac. Has anyone had this problem on a Macbook?

nevermind, i was able to download it over steam! now to join the complaints about the gameplay...
