Instant Karma 3 civ/player, no AI

From my point of view I am reminded of the scene in the film Waterworld where Kevin Costner character drops incendiary device into depths of oil tanker.

So you're definitely in Tigranes? I'll give you a run down of everything if so. You'll see the image I posted which is what's happening in the world here.

Oh Sid no. I was reasonably sure I could come out of this war on top but when Tigranes is teaming up with Muffin I am doomed!

You can always invest into diplomacy. I like getting cities with buildings instead of capturing them in ruins.

GPSed to Napoleon(Knoedel). What image?

Guys, here is a very important thought: gifting units is a very exploitable gimmick which only humans are smart enough to use. In general gifting units and cities back and forth introduces a lot of cheese in this type of games and should be avoided. Lets vote for the new house rule from this point forward. No more unit moving twice or potentially 3 times during the same turn in the hands of your different civs.

I'm pretty sure we have some sort of house rule against that already. KenWyn was almost as pedantic as you.

Wait, you played already? Without qny sort of negotiations? This doesn't bode well.

no tech or unit trading, gifting, or brokering outside of team

Ironically inside the team gifting is allowed!

Turn on hold until I have heard back from Tigranes re peace negotiations. Skype sucks, either send me a mail or be online as the same time as I am on Steam.

Final terms are offered via email. Take it or leave it, but in any case play it.

P.S. I am still asking to ban unit/city gifting between the team civs from this point forward.

Happy with the ban, but woah! Lets calm down the idea of letting Imp off! He has done a fair bit of wonder whoring and neglacted a lot of military here, far too much! Come on lets punish him. You saw how much stuff I have to hit him with next turn...

Come on, look at that! We can really do some damage here... That doesn't include my mounted divisions either!

Final terms? Pu-lease you don't know half of what I am willing to offer you!

I don't know, it would be a bit late to start enforcing that rule now. I and I am sure many other players have mixed and mingled many units already, are we supposed to find out which civ originally built which unit and send it back or do the units just stay under the command of whoever has them right now?

Oh sorry I thought that was asking for a ban between players. Might be awkward to enforce that rule now... But I proposed this a while back!

We already have a ban against unit trades between civs, and had that in place for quite a while. It's what ruined my attempt at buying Navigation1 promoted ships from Michkov way back.

No need to send back, no retroactive action, just from this point forward. Portugal is my last civ, I moved my Byzantine Cataphract into last Portuguese tile before your land starts, gave it to Portugal and then attacked you from effectively 4 MP range all in the same turn. Sure I won the battle but I did not feel crafty about this. Unlike you when you gifted Western Units to Israel by finding a loophole in our Middle East rules. I like winning without cheese.

Wow. If I were him I would start looking for an entire world of allies -- not just buying a peace from me.

Then I am afraid you wil have to replay. We have a houserule that while you can gift yourself units, you may not use it to icrease its moves, e.g. so you may send a swordsman on a road one tile, gift him, and then move another tile, or move him two tiles, gift and then skip turn as the next civ, but you may not move him two tiles with the first civ, gift him, and then move again. I am sorry that you weren't informed of this, silly KenWyn never updated the OP, but the other players can confirm that we have thad this houserule in place since this issue first came up, and I have personally always obeyed it.

Look, I am sorry OP was never updated, and that kind of rule is very hard to enforce and monitor.
Just initiate the ban on ALL the gifts from this point forward -- and one does not have to guess about any complicated peculiarities. Who is the host now, anyway? Someone has to take charge and update all the rules in 2nd post. It is hard to remember all 12 different rule sets in 12 different games I play, much less to guess what was agreed at some point and who said what.

Doesn't change the rule. I often think your contrived house rules are stupid too, doesn't mean I just go ahead and break them.

Now replay your turn and don't doublemove.

Before I joined this game I have read OP and all the rules and then agreed to join. I broke no officially posted rules and therefore replaying is out of question (especially because it was 1-2 "violations" anyway). If you provide me with the link to the discussion were every one has agreed about no double moving, I will refrain from it in future. But the smarter thing would be no gifting period.

If you find any of my house rules stupid -- you should simply refuse to act stupid and refuse to join. Act smart -- like hide amended house rule somewhere in the thread, fail to brief the new player about it and play 10 turns without even knowing new player is violating something. Because if I would not bring it up myself -- how would you possibly know? Double movement deep in enemy territory is not something you can observe.

Look, it's not my fault KenWyn was too disorganized to keep the OP up to date, I know for a fact we once voted that house rule into effect and I have always obeyed it. KenWyn really was the worst of both worlds in that regard, combining my laziness with your penchant for contrived house rules.

Anyway if you search the thread for "gift" I'm sure you will find something. I unfortunately couldn't locate the exact post where this rule was codified during my own search, but this, this and this post all clearly reference it.
