Interesting Screenshots

Well now, let's not get ahead of ourselves...

Was that the result from capturing the Great Library? ;)

More likely, he built the ToE.

Actually, their two colors are not EXACTLY the same, but they are so similar that the human eye can't tell the difference.

I had the English right next to the Dutch on a large pangea map, and their two color were so similar, I got a town sacked! The Dutch declared war on me, and I didn't worry about it with the English in between. Unfortunately, six or seven turns later, I couldn't tell that one of the Swordsmen was Dutch, when he came onto my land. I had a defender in the city, but when I checked the English, they were polite and their military was shown as "weak". So I didn't attack first. Naturally, then, he did and won, vSword against vSword and I learned a lesson about civ colors.

You can't tell the difference between Orange and Gold?

Well, if you aren't sure, there's always the option of right-clicking the unit to see who's it is. ;)

There was probably a color-error. :p

That would be annoying, since they have the exact shade of orange!

I think you're right. In a recent game I had Spain and Sumeria, located right next to each other, and they were precisely the same shade of blue. Very confusing!

Ah yes, the evil power of the color error that sometimes crops up on Big Maps.

Well, I was sure. It was English. Just look at the color. Like I said, I learned a lesson about Civ colors....

This confused me: a happy civil disorder? (Note, the gold is so high because I'm bored of the normal slow game, so I felt like giving a massive amount of gold for no reason other than to hurry stuff for no reason.)

Where's the screenie?

My internet went nuts and I couldn't upload the pic. My wireless card lost signal while trying to upload and I had to leave right away, so I posted and shut down my comp.

So trying again:

Why is the game obviously modded?

I get bored easily.
Plus I find it amusing to mess around with maps.
I also use that map to test modifications of units and other aspects of the game.
Would you rather me to photoshop it to make it look 'nicer'?

But has anyone else have that happen to them?
