Here's one from the SG Hawk 02. Tokyo was unhappy, so I decided to see why. I was surprised when I saw this message:

Why was I suprised to see that? Because we've been in Republic for about 1700 years (turnwise, about 220 turns), and that city has never been captured. How can they be upset over cruel opression??

Where do you get your money from?? Just other civs? or are you just not making profit today??

For how long will they stay unhappy because of that?

The 11% is a relative amount, if you can find the absolute amount of unhappiness caused by it, then just multiply that by 20.

So if 3 citizens are unhappy because of whipping, then it will take between 41 and 60 turns to disappear.

I might be missing something but I disagree, MAS. That would be true if the whip was used once on a large project but if it were used multiple times in a short period (say three spears over 6 turns) then couldn't it still be under 20 turns left?

I could scarcely believe my eyes when I saw this:

I've seen plenty of undefended AI cities, but never this late into the game (730 AD) and with so many military units around.

Seems you've built nothing but Settlers so far in the game. :scan:

What map size is that? Huge or beyond huge? ...It's 730 AD and that part of the land was just recently settled.

This is a Huge Regent milkrun, so I did have minimal military for a while, but I've been fighting since 400 AD and have a (relative to the AI) large stack of Cavalry.

Well, there IS a German Warrior right next to the city, but not IN the city.

Perhaps the worker is amphibious, or a scuba diver?

Look! Land!
Where?
There, over the hills, behind that town, across the ocean!

(ps. whatsup with the whales?? It has some thingy next to it.)

those are just small symbols that show that the whales are 2 commerce, 1 food, and 1 shield. if you look closely at the game, i think i can see 2 food next to it

Could you show us a zoomed-out pic of the route?

He must be taking the reallllly slow boat to China. Around the world in 50 turns....

Strange, this.

 The temples are just placeholders.
That worker needs to learn mapmaking...

Just a question:
What hopes do you have for Brandenburg? Only two land tiles except for the city site itself. Or three if you destroy that rival city.
