Interesting Screenshots

There's 3 tiles, kill fire- the hill, and the 2 volcanoes.

What can I say? The Map Generator REALLY hates me. That's my worst start yet, though. In second place is in the middle of a huge jungle.(Although that's not THAT rare.)

I hit something similar a little while ago, and think that I posted the screen shot. I had a starting location on the coast, with one volcano right next to the start tile, and another one tile away. If the volcanoes had been mountains, it would have been a good starting location, since I was on a flood plain for food, and had more mountains to mine to the southwest. See page 124, post 2470. I have seen the AI with a starting location like that as well, except it was a 4 tile island, but with 2 volcanoes. I do not have a screen shot of that. The RMG comes up with some pretty odd results on what seems to be a fairly regular basis. I have also seen starting locations in the middle of a desert, albeit with an oasis right next door, in a desert on the coast, and in a grassland tile surrounded by mountains.

pic #1: That is how powerful the AI can get. I've played this game until about mid-middle ages, and the Byzantines have been reduced to Ceasarea by me and the Vikings, the Russians were completely destroyed by the French and Vikings. The Germans destroyed the Spanish and Portuguese, and left the Dutch with Arnhem, Haarlem, and Gronigen. Just on regent.
pic #2 That's a long way to iron. I guess I don't need just horsemen to have Spain donate their iron.

And I'm pretty sure starting on 3-tile islands is too. ;)

I think I already posted it here, it is also in civ 3 screenshots section. Ignore what foreign advisor says (manual edit), but this deal is real.

Only thing is, Iros had 1 city, BUT had settler-on-a-boat (literally) and managed to get 3 city empire by the end of game. I just do not understand where that GPT came from. I never saw them disbanding any of their units (or never did their defense of capital "disappear". Also they did found 3 city-island by the end game, after I captured their capital.

Also, they did accept that deal :)

(And yes, this is Rhye's of Civilization: that was the first thing I did when I installed CivIII: Complete on my new computer: install RoC)

Looks like they still had 70 gpt income from other civs. That's the only thing I can think of. Pretty cool though. After seeing this screenshot, I do think I'm going to pay more attention to whether civs I'm about to attack, have trades going on with other civs.

They payed that income for 20 turns AND built 2 (or 3) cities during that time, as you can see they did not have any cities besides capital and most nations had their techs (2 out of ~5 did not have theology).

ROFLMAO (or should I say ROFLWU?)

What mod is that?

Looks like...I don't know...Rhye's? I can't tell. The terrain looks like Rhye's, but I don't think his mod has Sweden as a civ. And the borders are different, so it may be a custom mod.

Farsight, if you could please confirm.

...And this is why I like to make custom diplomacy scripts.
