Me and my brother had a game that went so far that gold gifts actually gave negative influence!

Well, I'm back, and I just caught up with this. Seems to be heading in a good direction for a decade-long conflict, what with the liberation of the Iroquois.

I've got the game loaded up here, and I'm in a delima about what to do here.

It looks like things could get really, really ugly in the next update....

After being driven out of former Iriquois territory by the American army, the Aztecs apparently decided to try a counter-offensive on the western front.

The American army went back west to stop the new Aztec offensive, and eventually the Aztec army began their advance from the northwest of Chengdu.But the Aztec army was outmatched.Using their advanced missile artillery and airforce, the American army began to drive the Aztecs back.The American robot was sent to confront the Aztec robot, and a fierce battle ensued between the two.Meanwhile, the American armor divisions went west to confront the advancing Aztec forces there, and the Aztecs were defeated.

Aerial bombardment and a few skirmishes with Aztec forces continued while the American army prepared to renew the offensive.

The US had received the news that after two separate revolutions in Russia and in the Songhai nation, dictatorships took over in both nations, with Russia turning Communist, and the Songhai turning into a Fascist nation.With this, the US considered letting the alliance with Russia begin to slowly fade.

And although the US did not like the change in the Songhai government either, it still opposed the Ottoman invasion of Songhai territory.And the Ottomans were still continuing their invasion, attacking the new Songhai capital of Tondibi.

The Songhai were also engaged in a fierce naval and air battle with the Ottomans off the coast of the US city Marsin.

Thus, the US government was greatly debating what should be done about the Ottoman invasion, fearing that they would become to powerful if they took all of the Songhai territory.Helping the Songhai militarily would no doubt cause a full scale war on the American-Turkish border south of Marsin.And although the US had tried negotiating peace between the two nations, the Ottoman government would not accept.

Eventually, Tondibi fell to the Ottomans.

Thus the rest of Songhai territory lay open and almost defenseless to Ottoman invasion.

The US government determined that something had to be done to help the Songhai.Not wanting a full scale war, the US instead tried a different strategy.The American army surrounded the new Songhai capital, Kumbi Saleh, in an attempt to force the Ottomans to attack them or to leave, which the US hoped would deter any further aggression.

This greatly angered the Turkish dictator, and he denounced the United States.

And in the Aztec war, the American army finally began the assault on Zitlaltepec.

After a long siege and months of brutal fighting, the city finally fell.

The US also received the news that Japan had once again joined the fight against the Aztecs, which encouraged the American forces.

Meanwhile, more American forces moved in to join the standoff against the Ottomans.And as the huge Ottoman army drew ever closer, tensions grew.

The Ottomans are once again menacing civilization, and my relations with them are bad again, so this could eventually come down to war.

Yeah, it looks pretty good.I should probably move my missile artillery there next time I load up the game, as it's a in a fairly vulnerable position should the Ottomans decide to attack me.
