This scares me to . .. .. .. .. I'm scared to death of invisible secret police. I'm scared to death of invisible cia agents. I'm scared to death of the government running wild. So I don't really like this at all.

They could be watching us right now man!:twitch: It could be like Orwell's hell on crack. Yet, still, quite cool.

Do they also make no noise and does the camo work on the dust tanks release when going through terrain :mischief:

The camo technique would however counter currrent guided anti tank missiles as they rely on a soldier staying aiming and guiding the missile visually. I dunno how good IR would work on moving tanks. If IR works to every platoon gets IR googles, or they rely on IR satellites; self-guided anti tank missiles based on IR also work then. Not to forget anti tank mines that rely on pressure.

See this:

You're going to the toilet. You just finish your works when you notice a tank appearing right next to you!

Am I a paranoid?

Oh great now I'll be worried about invisible tanks looking over my shoulder watching me browse the chans of 4!

We could use this technology to do something good to humanity, instead we choose to use it on a tank! :gripe:
That's neither good nor evil.

What matters is how you use that invisible tank once you've got it. If you use it to conquer California, that's bad. If you use it to kill Saddam Hussein, Kim Il Jung, or Paris Hilton, that's good.

They're already invisible. There could be a hidden camera in your bathroom this very moment. Unless you're stockpiling AK-47's and rocket launchers in your basement and plotting to conquer the city, I can't see (har har) why anybody would send an invisible tank your way.

They will still be noisy as hell, have a huge thermal image and leave great big tracks in the ground. As useful as a puncture repair kit on the Titanic.

I'm not afraid for my self. Just don't want thne government to have invisible things. But further thought thermal vision renders this obsolete.
