Challenging Fate
Four issues needed to be solved before Counter Colonialism goes up
Issue 1: Not exactly realistic nations
Issue 1: Not exactly realistic nations
Tanny and I worked out an agreement where he could be his Enchiladas that he loves. He liked it, I liked it, and we had the common courtesy to work it out before the game started. However, then I realized something. IOT's motto has always been "historical accuracy be damned", but I always prided myself of trying to make sense of things. I also probably had the biggest issues of Batmanistan of all the users in RIOT (and probably the only one who left due to the final verdict). Simply put it, extraterrestrials do not fit in the mood of Counter Colonialism.
Now, I don't want to be a douche and tell Tanny I changed my mind. But I don't want to ruin the mood of this game. Therefore, I'm going to put this as a vote for the public to decide. There are only two options.
1: Let Tanny be his enchiladas, and let anyone WHO CONTACTS ME IN ADVANCE* do something similar
2: It ruins the mood of game, do not allow
*Notice the emphasis.

Issue 2: Map
TK made this map. It is very awesome, and he worked hard on it. However, he promised me this by Easter. I got it May 22nd, and even then, I had to pressure him. We all have a life, I understand. I went on a 3-Day trip to D.C. on that very week, preventing the release date of week of getting map.
However, the point of this isn't to berate on how late TK was.

Spoiler :

So, here are three choices for the vote. Note, I will be doing any changes myself, unless anyone volunteered to do so. Don't be afraid to do so.

1: Get rid of the cradles, but leave the rest of the map as is
2: Make your changes to the map
3: This took long enough. Just do it
Issue 3: Events
Yes, events. However, unlike most IOTs, they aren't made of chance (Turn 0: "A terrorist blows up a power plant" FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU). Instead, they are based off of stories and anything interesting found in the game. By having events tied to roleplaying, I hope I encourage more of it happening. But also gone is instant reward or penalty.
Instead, each event will have a choice. However, there is no set choices. For example, say a Seminole colony found a Carib spy. The Carib King has justification that the spy is not so, but the Seminole King tells the colony not to back down. The Seminole colony has a choice. Does he release the spy to the Caribs? Continue to keep him under custody? Try to reach a compromise? Execute the man? Bribe a 3rd Party to take him? Its all up to the player. The next turn, I'll give the results of the path chosen.
But do you even want events?
1: Yes, I would
2: No, I wouldn't
Issue 4: Time
Aftermath and Son of Mars II are two big ticket IOTs. Both are popular, and both are heavy with members. Could Counter Colonialism compete with these two? Three choices
1: Yes, this can compete with Aftermath and Sons of Mars II. Release ASAP
2: No, it couldn't. Wait until one finishes/dies, then make.
3: This can live, but its best to wait to at least June 24th, where Omega has his last day of school for the school year.
